I’m Lisa, Canine Experience Officer of Stardust Doggy Care. I founded the company in 2009, following 8 years of working in the property sector, I had fallen out of love with my old job and longed to spend more time with my own dog, Ziggy.
The founding principles of Stardust is that all dogs are equal: they all receive the same love, care and attention that comes with being sprinkled with a little Stardust.
Over the past few years I have worked tirelessly to build the business and I am now proud to have over 60 dogs in my doggy gang, four doggy vans on the road and I employ an amazing team who are as bonkers about dogs as I am! Stardust is fully trademarked and insured. I have also worked to provide my team with the best training from the prestigious Glasgow Dog Trainer and other industry leaders.
My business currently turns over in excess of £100,000 per annum with a 49% profit margin – and that’s with myself and the team working 9am-4pm, Monday to Friday. I really have created the perfect lifestyle business!
We use innovative software to keep in touch with our clients, manage bookings and take payments – cutting down on admin time. Our flagship, Stardust Doggy Care business is based within North Glasgow and the surrounding areas. But as a business model I believe it can work anywhere – so I am looking to roll out the model globally and recruit licencees who are seeking an amazing opportunity to become their own boss.
